Tryvann

It is a very big skiing resort for both types of skiing. Tryvann is a huge skiing resort which is very popular with over 14 different skiing tracs. And 5 eating areas. All around the skiing resort, there are a variety of things you can do at Tryvann. You can go to skiing school, where you get a tutor that can help you if you would like to learn cross country. They teach both  snowboard and cross country skiing. Which is a good opportunity for people to learn.  There is also a guest card from monday- friday which is free from 0-6 years. 7-15 (340kr) 16-65(430kr) 65-80(340kr)  and the same for weekends. Tryvann first opened in 1931 and has developed through many many years. The resort itself covers up to 9,6 km terrain. The biggest ground at Tryvann vinterpark is 1.400m long and has a fall of 381meter.  All the different princess listed in the picture below:


When at Tryvann and you don't have skiing equipment you can always rent so that you don't have to buy skiing if you only want to try skiing out.  Tryvann has that flexibility, which is very important when working for such a big company. It is also so famous because it is so flexible and is such a big area. The renting information is listed below. 





Opening hours for tryvann is 

Mon-friday: 10:00 -22:00

Saturday- sunday: 09:00-21:00


They also have a ski workshop which is open from 

Monday and Wednesday- 09:00-17:00 

Tuesday and Thursday- 09:00-20:00 

Friday : 09:00-16:00


Skidmore is the company 3 of the main ski resorts, which mostly are the three biggest ones are sponsored such as

Korketrekkeren- 

Korketrekkeren is a popular sledding place in Oslo which was attached in the 1900s and goes from frognerseteren til midtstuen. It is a long and fun sledding experience that has been very popular especially this winter. You can go back up if you would want to with the t-bane to frognerseteren in 16 min. The length of korketrekkeren is 2000 meter and the fall height is 225 meter. And one trip from the top and down takes about 8-10 min


NB! Korketrekkeren is only open if there is enough snow!

JUL I VINTERLAND

in the winter JUL I VINTERLAND is the best thing in the whole world. it is the number one thing that people go to in the winter. this year it was open from 12.11.2020 to 02.01.2021. it is the most beautiful experience that you just have to visit. it is located In Oslo centrum. the easiest way to get there is to take the train to nationalteater and from there it is a 5 min walk. 

In the Winterland there is ice skating, a huge fairris wheel, a mini Korketrekkeren. and there are a lot fo small shops around where you can by good things such as sweet apple, churros and much more. look at the picutres under:

JUL I VINTERLAND has over 2 million visitors each year. this shows how popular jul I hinterland actually is. I personally go there every year at least 5 times. it is a real nice experience where you really have a fun time with friends. I even went to jul I hinterland for my birthday with my family.
