Kristiansand is a very popular place to be if you ever want to experience different things in the same area. Kristiansand had one of the biggest shopping malls here in Norway. Which has everything you could ever wish for. It also has the most famous zoo located right on the other side of the shopping mall. The famous Dyreparken. Which is the most popular zoo that we have in Norway, which is one of the reasons Kristiansand has become so popular. Dyreparken has over 1 million visitors each year. Kristiansand has also Naturpark, which is called the Ravnedalen Naturpark which is located right next to the city. Kristiansand is not a very big city which makes everything next to each other or a really short drive.

dyreparken is the most famous zoo located in a town in Norway called Kristiansand. The zoo has all the different things you can wish for in one place. there is the zoo itself and a waterpark which is for both baby swimming and for older people. there are also sleepoverplaces where you can stay if you would like to stay for more than one day. the different options are listed underneath.

Dyreparken has not only animals but it has shown of captain sabertooth which is the most famous thing. And cardamom town. These two are most people's childhoods and it brings back a lot of memories. In the area of the boat of captain Sabertooth which is very popular among kids when his ship arrives singing to his songs, people gather around where his ship arrives. People can get a tour on his boat if they wish. In his village, there are places where you can eat for not very expensive. And you can take a look around and get the feeling of how it was when watching it on tv when you were younger. The zoo also has many different animals which you may have never seen before. They are spread all over the zoo so there is a bit of a walk from each animal, but some are right next to each other. There is also a lot of performances, this is a very nice thing to experience and have fun with family and friends for very cheap.

Climbing activities:

høyt og lavt:

høyt og lavt is a climbing activitiy which is the most famous climbing activity for both kids and parents. in English høyt og lavt means high and low. this is because there is activities on the ground and far in the air between trees which could be more challenging. There are ziplines climbing and obbsitcles to have fun with.  There are 3 levels that people can do (green= easy on the ground Blue = challenging further up in the air  red=difficult, far up.) This is a nice adventure to do when in Norway. There is 15 parks in Norway.

Kristiansand climbing center

Kristiansand climbing center is a indoors climbing place where everyone ca go. it is the most famous climbing center in Norway with the most stars. it has a lot of different popsicles which are very high so you have to wear a security bet around you to make sure your safe. this is a wonderful experience to do with family and friends. It is located on the other Side of Søm a place called Odderøya.

My thoughts on Kristiansand:

I think Kristiansand is a awesome place, I personally love it. I am there all the time since my family lives there, so I am always there to visit. I love the Nice people and how welcoming everyone is. there are a lot of activities that you can do in Kristiansand such as going to the sørlandssenteret a shopping Mal. ((the biggest one in Norway. Dyreparken also known as the zoo that I talk more about above. there are climbing activities, and there is a place where if you have a boat you can drive and its like a small city where you can hang with family in the summer.  there are many fun activities and things that you can do and enjoy.
